How To Do Side Projects While Working
The more I reflect on the last three years, the more I'm amazed at what I've survived and accomplished.
I launched my YouTube channel during the height of the pandemic, a time when I wasn't sure if my department at Prime Video Live Sports would survive. With no live sports happening worldwide, I found myself, for the first time in my adult life, with unexpected free time. So, I decided to learn content creation.
As the world gradually returned to normal, my channel's popularity grew. Over time, I amassed nearly 150,000 subscribers, built a newsletter with over 10,000 readers, marketed and launched a paid community, and grew my Discord to over 5,500 members. All while maintaining a demanding full-time job and raising two kids.
